Rasuwa Flood

Rasuwa flood devastates homes and livelihoods; Namo:Udyam urges collective action to support relief efforts across Nepal.

The Rasuwa district has been struck by unprecedented flooding, leaving a trail of destroyed homes, lost livelihoods, and displaced families. 🌧️ The scale of the disaster underscores the urgent need for coordinated relief and long‑term recovery measures throughout Nepal. 🇳🇵

The flood has stripped many households of essential belongings and even basic necessities of life. In response, Namo:Udyam, the national industry association, has partnered with HelpingHands to launch a comprehensive flood‑relief campaign. The initiative calls on members, partners, and the wider public to contribute expertise, supplies, or financial support, emphasizing that every contribution, however small, can make a tangible difference. ❤️

Namo:Udyam’s relief strategy focuses on three pillars: immediate assistance, verified information dissemination, and sustainable rebuilding. Volunteers are being mobilized to distribute aid, while the association is sharing verified relief information through its networks to prevent misinformation. The organization also encourages individuals to check on neighbors and vulnerable families, fostering a community‑wide safety net.

In these critical moments, standing together is our greatest strength. Donations can be made at https://pmdrf.nchl.com.np/ and those able to volunteer are urged to contact the Namo:Udyam coordination team. By pooling resources and compassion, Nepal can rebuild and emerge more resilient from this tragedy.
